Yesterday some of my Dads friends came over to our house. One of his friends got an ice-cream cake from Baskin Robbins specially for me. The reason behind this is that since I was a kid I've been a fan of Baskin Robbins. A week wouldn't pass by that I wouldn't have had at least two scoops of my favourite ice-cream from Baskin Robbins topped with strawberry topping, nuts and cream. My obsession was to the extent that family friends know of my obsession and therefore when they'd visit our house they would have a bag of goodies from BR.
One of my Dads friend did this regularly. He would always get me something from there when he visited. Yesterday he came after a really long time and lo and behold, he carried a bag from BR with him. He'd gotten a ice-cream cake from BR for me. Anyone who knows me knows how much food-obsessed I am, and although that has slightly changed recently because of the book the "17 day diet" (More about that in another post) I still remain a fan of good food.
Anywho, this cake is amazing. I'm supposed to be integrating healthy eating habits in my diet such as low fat / low carb / high protein and therefore avoiding all these sweet and fatty things but I seriously couldn't stop myself from indulging in this beautiful cake titled, "Chocolate Elegance". Its a mixture of Vanilla and Pralines'N'Cream ice-cream, chocolate cake and chocolate sauce.
There is only a quarter of the cake left but here goes:
