The month of Ramadan is the month of the Qur'an. However, it is also a month of forgiveness and mercy. Muslims increase in giving charity as in the month of Ramadan every good deed you do, its reward is multiplied. It is also the sunnah of the Prophet (PBUH) to increase in doing good deeds and giving in more charity during this month.
A lot of campaigns and initatives are going on in Dubai so I thought I would list them all down for whoever wants to contribute or help. If you knw of any more then please feel free to mention them.

Ramadan Care Packages for Labourers 2012
This project run by Saher Shaikh is now a yearly event. The UAE community comes together to help put together packages for labourers which include basic essentials and distribute these among labour camps. It is in collabourers with Dubai Government. I love this event.

We're giving the guys, who are working on the Regent School construction, a meal every night as part of 'Fill A Blue Belly' :) Anyone can contribute to as many meals as they like. Each meal is 8Dhs and we aim to hit at least 50 meals a night.This is how you do it:
